Stop Blaming the Algorithm: Here’s Why Your Sales Aren’t Growing

Let’s be real...creating content can feel like running on a hamster wheel.

You’re posting, scrolling, refreshing notifications, and hoping for a sign that all your effort is worth it.

Spoiler alert: if you’re not seeing results, it’s not because you’re not working hard enough. It’s because you’re running in the wrong direction. It’s time to step off the wheel and embrace a smarter strategy.

Here’s how to stop hustling and start converting.

Posting for the sake of posting is like shouting into a void—nobody’s listening, and nobody’s buying.

If you’re churning out content with no clear focus, you’re wasting time. It’s not about posting more—it’s about posting better.

1. Know Who the F* You’re Talking To

You’ve heard it before: “If you’re talking to everyone, you’re talking to no one.”

But let’s take it deeper. Your ideal audience isn’t just defined by demographics like age or occupation.

The key is understanding their internal problems—the dreams, fears, and struggles they don’t say out loud.

If your content is all about you (your offers, your achievements), you’re missing the mark. Shift the focus to them.

Your ideal client doesn’t care about your business; they care about how you can solve their problems.

2. Value Over Volume

Yes, posting consistently matters, but only if you’re adding value. Throwing up content just to “check the box” confuses your audience and dilutes your message. Instead, every post should solve a problem, inspire action, or build trust.

💡 Pro Tip: If your content doesn’t answer a question or solve a problem for your ideal client, it’s not worth posting.

3. Always Call Them to Action

People need clear, compelling direction.

What should they do next? DM you? Download your freebie?

Make it stupid simple.

Confused people buy nothing. If your call to action isn’t crystal clear, they’ll scroll right past it.

Here’s the kicker: the algorithm isn’t the villain here—it’s just exposing your gaps.

The real issue is a lack of clarity, strategy, and systems.

Think about this: even if the algorithm brought you 50,000 views tomorrow, would it make a difference if your message wasn’t connecting, your offer wasn’t clear, or your systems weren’t in place? Spoiler: it wouldn’t.

4. Build Real Relationships

People buy from those they know, like, and trust. Stop focusing solely on transactions and start having genuine conversations.

💡 Pro Tip: Incorporate storytelling into your content. Show who you are, what you stand for, and why they should care.

5. Sell Strategically

Not every post needs to scream, “BUY NOW!”

But every piece of content should move your audience closer to working with you.

Focus on confidence—believe in what you’re offering and let that conviction shine through.
